Kind Consultancy is working with a successful national Financial Services organisation which is currently seeking a Compliance Operations Manager to join the 2nd Line of Compliance team in their Buckinghamshire offices. The Compliance Operations Manager will work with the Head of Compliance identifying, reporting on, assessing and managing Compliance Risks through the implementation and execution of Compliance Frameworks throughout the Advisory Compliance function. Key responsibilities of the Compliance Operations Manager role will include: * Supporting the delivery of a culture of positive compliance across the organisation, deputising for the Head of Compliance where appropriate * Devising and overseeing systems and controls to enable and empower the team to operate at optimum performance levels in an open, transparent environment that encourages development and support * Interpreting and implementing Compliance policy and team practices, making sure they work effectively and remain fit for purpose * Delivering guidance and direction as required on the design of new compliance processes and policies arising from strategic or regulatory change * Monitoring the effectiveness of the current Compliance policies to identify areas for potential enhancement and to help improve operational controls * Maintaining up-to-date awareness of regulatory changes, tracking the 1st line businesses’ understanding of changes and implementing plans to maintain compliance * Oversight of a team of 6 compliance oficers and analysts We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Operations or Compliance Advisory professional with experience of managing and leading teams.
