In this role, you will work on the following: Review and update the Compliance Monitoring Plan Perform compliance oversight reviews across Business and support functions Report the findings of the oversights to the Legal & Compliance Committee Tracking and follow up for implementation of oversight recommendations / action points Reporting of MI pertaining to open actions to Legal & Compliance Committee Assist the MLRO in performing Financial Crime Risk Assessments for areas including KYC, AML, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud and Market Abuse Assist the MLRO in reviewing and updating of MLRO Report and Country Risk Assessment Submit relevant conclusions, recommendations of analysis of reviews to the MLRO Investigate and escalate internal suspicious activity reports to the MLRO Submit the suspicious activity reports (SARs) to NCA, after obtaining approval from the MLRO Review and update the Compliance and Financial Crime policies and procedures Ad hoc projects and assignments related to Compliance and Financial Crime, as allocated by the Head of Legal & ComplianceYou will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Knowledge of Banking industry Sound understanding of UK regulations Understanding of Risk based approach to Compliance and Financial Crime Risk management Good knowledge of Transaction Monitoring, CDD / EDD for Retail, Corporate and FIs, payments, trade finance, credit and treasury areas Knowledge of retail and commercial banking products Experience in identifying and reporting of suspicious activityIf this sounds like you please apply below!
