As the Senior QHSE Engineer, you will have supervisory responsibility for a small team of quality and HSE engineers. You will be integral to supporting safety and quality improvement initiatives across the business. Client Details My client is a global manufacturing business. Description The role will play a vital part in ensuring the sites Safety, quality and Environmental compliance and continuous improvement. The role will involve day to day line management responsibility for a small team of SHEQ Engineers and is ideal for somebody with experience looking to take their next step You will work with suppliers to improve quality of right first time supplied goods as well as auditing internal processes and procedures. You will accountable for the continuing development and maintenance of the safety and quality systems as well as driving standards across the operation and adherence to best practice. You will identify opportunities for improvement and conduct capability analysis for processes. You will contribute to risk assessments, FMEA's, control plans, routings and measurement reports and will seek out opportunities to drive improvement initiatives around safety as well as quality and general operational practices. Profile You will have a proven track record of success within a QHSE role, ideally with a weighting towards quality. You will also be passionate about developing your QHSE career further in a supervisory capacity. You will have a proven track record of success from within a manufacturing environment and will be educated or be qualified by experience within an engineering discipline to the level where technical drawings can be read and interpreted. You will have worked to ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 standards with ISO 45001 a distinct advantage. Ideally you will be lead auditor qualified and will have a track record of auditing both internal and external processes. You will be able to demonstrate where you have applied world class manufacturing tools to improve manufacturing processes and process capability. A strong desire to fully appreciate and exceed customer requirements You will be able to demonstrate where you have identified risk and made improvements to ensure the potential for any safety issues are mitigated.
