Do you want to play an integral part in the continued growth of an Electrical Engineering & installation Company with an established reputation for providing bespoke engineering solutions?If so, then please see below… QHSE Manager Brentwood, Essex Up to £50k + Car + Package Huxley Engineering and a leading solutions provider for the design, supply and installation of safety-critical equipment into the UK Offshore & On-shore Power Generation Industries are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager owing to both succession planning within the organisation and significant growth over the last 4 years, as they continue to grow and expand their market share further afield with international clients. Based in the Brentwood (Essex) area, the QHSE Manager will be working for a niche solutions provider, supporting leading transmission and distribution for both Onshore & Offshore Electricity Network operators in the UK, Europe, Africa & Asia. It's an excellent opportunity for a QSHE Management professional to play an integral part in the continued growth of a Engineering Company with an established reputation for providing bespoke engineering solutions. Reporting into the Board, the QHSE Manager will be required to work alongside other members of the QHSE Team to deliver the following: Review, update and maintain the QHSE Management Systems Ensure Quality & HSE compliance to national and international requirements Ensure Quality & HSE compliance to customer requirements Maintain accreditation with ISO 9001, ISO14001, OSHAS18001 / transition to ISO45001 Maintain UVDB Verify scores & Maintain Construction Line Gold Membership Level Secure and maintain Lloyds Register NERS registration Review and input into the development of site Risk Assessments and Methods Statements with the Operations Team Undertake Site Audits to confirm compliance of site procedures with the management systems Maintain and review staff Training Matrix ensuring compliance with customer requirements for site works where appropriate Liaise with customers for site based QHSE matters Management of sub-contractor accreditation and authorisation proceduresExperience & Qualifications Required for QHSE Manager Role: Recognised QHSE qualifications Experience of managing QHSE systems (ideally within a Power Generation / Electrical Installation / Utilities / Electrical Commissioning Environment) Experience of ISO 9001, ISO14001, OSHAS18001 / ISO45001 Previous Audit (Customer, internal & Site) experience re Quality Audits and Site HSE / Quality Audits Previous experience in developing QMS, Audit & HSE Systems to support and reflect business growthFor the successful QHSE Manager, a basic salary circa £45,000-£50,000 is on offer, with an additional package that includes a company-driven bonus, company car, private healthcare, pension and 25 days holiday plus.
