We are currently recruiting for Welding Inspector / NDE Technician to complete a four month contract with our client based in Hebburn. The role is responsible for the examination of welded components and the compilation of reports. The main duties for the role are: * Work in conjunction with the Quality Engineer, Welding Co-ordinator, Project Manager and Production staff to ensure NDT examinations are conducted in line with manufacturing schedules. * Conduct visual inspection of deposited welds thus verifying compliance to specified requirements. * Review NDT repots and verify compliance with project requirements. * Maintain project related databases relating to NDE. The successful candidate will be in possession of a Welding Inspection Qualification and have experience of working with HSEQ and document control.
