As the Interim Health & Safety / Compliance Manager you will be instrumental in ensuring consistency across sites. Client Details This is a well established business that are looking to invest in developing clear & repeatable HSE processes across the group. As the Interim Health & Safety / Compliance Manager, you will be working with all levels within the business in order to assess sites & maintain best practice across the business. Description This role gives you the chance to work closely with the Head of HSE, promoting & encouraging best practice across the region. As the Interim Health & Safety / Compliance Manager you will be overseeing a cluster of sites in West Midlands & Home Counties ensuring the business continues to move forward on their Health & Safety journey. Key responsibilities include: Working with the senior management team to deliver a Health & Safety Strategy Conducting risk assessments Ensuring legal compliance, mitigating environmental risk & monitoring compliance to current legislation Recommending improvements across the business Advising on legislation changes when necessary Maintaining the existing HSE system & suggesting changes in order to improve it further Liaising with the personnel & management to promote Health & Safety way of thinking Providing, recommending or requesting training in matters relating to Health & Safety and/or Environmental matters This role will require weekly travel, for which expenses will be paid. Profile A Health & Safety specialist available at short notice with first-hand experience of managing health & safety within a distribution or manufacturing environment. The successful applicant will have: A NEBOSH certificate Experience conducting risk assessment Experience recommending & supporting in the implementation Health & Safety improvement plans The ability to work with a multi-disciplined team in order to champion a HSE aware workforce The ability to drive consistent improvements across multiple sites Job Offer Circa £200 - £300 per day + expenses
