HSE Manager Stafford Permanent £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) Monday to Friday – 39 hrs per week We are working with a long established and very stable company within the manufacturing sector, who are looking to take on an experienced HSE Manager on a permanent basis. This would suit a candidate with a dynamic approach, with strong experience in people management. The HSE Manager will be responsible for: * Driving a cultural changes in HSE awareness across the business * Continuously work to improve processes * Form, implements and review all HSE policies * Advise on legal compliance * Resolve all unsafe acts and conditions * Ensure strategy is in place for accidents, hazard and near miss reporting * Monitor workplace to ensure current control measures are being adhered to * Review and modify KPIs and ensure actions plans are implemented * Work alongside occupational health * Working to Quality Management systems such as OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 * Manage all environmental aspects of the business * Actively manage employees in respect of HSE and carry out investigations in a fair and unbiased manner when required * Ensure all teams across the business are aware of their specific HSE duties * Identify where training is required and coach and develop team knowledge * Assess the new starter induction paperwork and update accordingly * Chair monthly meeting for Health and Safety Skills and Experience * Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in Health Safety and Environmental in a Manufacturing business such as a HSE Manager / HSE Advisor / HSE Consultant * NEBOSH certificate or equivalent * Fire risk qualification/ certificate * Level 5 qualification / HNC in a relevant field * Driving HSE culture change * Delivering Health and Safety objectives * Completing statistical reports and managing a budget * Excellent, IT, written and verbal skills The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours.
