Health & Safety Standards and Compliance Specialist Working as part of a project team you will provide subject matter expertise ensuring that procedures and processes are in place for compliance. Focused on a specified number of H&S regulations, namely LOLER, PUWER, DSEA and ADR. Location: - Enfield Start date: - ASAP Duration: - 6 months Salary: - £300 per day Role Description Working as part of a project team you will provide subject matter expertise ensuring that procedures and processes are in place for compliance purposes. Focused on a specified number of H&S regulations, namely LOLER, PUWER, DSEA and ADR. You will work with the Head of Health and Safety, Quality lead and senior leadership team to deliver the project objectives. Key responsibilities: Assessing existing compliance of company standards, policies and procedure for the following regulations - LOLER, PUWER, DSEA and ADR. Identifying any potential gaps, and working with the key business stakeholders to resolve them with a sustainable solution, in a timebound manner. Drafting compliance procedures related to LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR and ADR (both drafting procedures afresh and updating/adapting existing procedures) Carrying out desktop or on-site conformance assessments for applicable equipment to determine if they are in the scope of certain regulations; Providing weekly updates for senior stakeholders. What you will need: Previous Engineering experience with reference to above regulations. Product compliance experience and knowledge of machinery and equipment regulations and standards. Formal qualification be it Mechanical or Electrical to support your Engineering knowledge.
