An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Compliance and Performance lead to work for one of the UK's leading engineering sub-contractors on Thames Water projects around the Oxfordshire area. The Compliance and Performance Lead will work with the Management team to ensure that all field-based staff are adhering to best practice and working in the most effective and efficient manner. Reporting to the Compliance and Performance Manager and working closely as a team to improve performance across the Thames Valley region. Below outlines some of the duties to be carried by the Compliance & Performance Lead as part of this role. This is a general list and is by no means an exhaustive list of activities. -Site based role maintaining compliance and performance within Thames Valley region -Working with field-based Technicians to pass on knowledge/skills and better working practices -Working with lower performers to mentor and improve skill levels -Carrying out DMA audits to confirm leakage survey has been completed correctly -Attending weekly meeting with compliance and performance Manager of review Technicians KPI's and devise action plans -Working closely and liaising with area Supervisors to improve individuals performance -Supporting Supervisors within their designated regions on an ongoing basis to help improve overall performance levels -Accurately record findings of DMA (district metered area) Audits, skill assessments and time taken in DMA studies. -Attending performance improvements meetings with individual Technicians -Carrying out site based audits of vehicles and individuals to confirm working hours and adherence to our process and procedures -Making sure that all staff are working to safe systems off work (SSW) and adhering to risk assessments as per our process and procedures. -Making sure that all staff follow our H&S process and procedures as per Integrated Management system (IMS) Key skills Essential: -Good/advanced knowledge of all leakage detection activities that are carried out on clean water network to identify leaks -Previous experience in a mentor/training role. -Good understanding of all current leakage detection equipment including correlators, noise loggers, hydrophones, ground mics etc. Desirable: -Experience in similar role previously. -5 - 10 years' experience in leakage detection --- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
