Our client is a reputable provider of affordable housing, not for profit develop and registered social landlord in the South East with a clear goal of providing safe, secure and comfortable accommodation for its tenants and customers- following a recent restructure of the property service function, they have an urgent requirement for an experienced surveyor to join their busy Assets team to ensure that properties , new or old, are adhering to agreed quality standards with regards to safety and compliance. You will undertake a range of building surveying including feasibility studies, options appraisals, building longer term work plans for stock to meet housing standards such as Decent Homes 2, 2030 SAP C, Building Safety Act, Carry out or instruct any targeted surveys of stock as required (e.g. roofs) and produce high quality reports, Understand the stock condition data to coordinate refurbishments and whole projects to blocks via through cyclical repairs and/or decoration or standalone projects and manage these projects if required
