Our client is one of Europe's largest Fuel storage and distribuion providers. They are now actively seeking an experienced Pipeline Technician to cover its East Anglia region. Do you have a hazardous area background as an on-site maintenance technician? Interested in gaining experience in the fuel logistics sector? This is a contract position leading to a permanent role after 3 months. Overview of the role Responsible for the upkeep of pipelines in the East Anglia region Undertake day to day planned operations and tasks Liaise with SCADA control to facilitate the efficient operation of pipelines and associated sites Make regular checks in accordance with procedure Attend call outs as part of standby roster Some weekend work Qualification/Skills 5 C Grade GCSEs or equivalent and a driving licence (including D&E). You will have experience in pipeline operations or similar Understanding of ground maintenance Experience of adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments. Salary: £14.86 per hour (£27,990.96) plus standby allowance when on Standby. Location: Thetford area Operating Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus standby Company job vehicle: Van
