A reputable, fast-growing contractor are looking for a talented and driven Health and Safety professional with a common-sense approach and great relationship-building skills. If this sounds like you, you have the opportunity to join them a on a large-scale project in London, covering a large design and build project for a new build Rail depot and managing Safety, Health and Environmental hazards across it’s life cycle. Reporting into the Group SHEQ Manager you will be: • Keen to learn and develop • Performing inspections and audits across the role • Identifying hazards and providing a solutions-led approach to driving compliance • From a Construction background with a desire to pursue a long-term career in safety • Working with site and project management to ensure safety is paramount across the project Working on a fast-moving and challenging site, you will be proactive in identifying risk and improving and implementing safety. You will also be: • NEBOSH-qualified • PTS-qualified • An astute communicator • Comfortable in a construction environment engaging with site • Experience in Rail and Construction projects This role is perfect for someone looking to cement a long-term career in Health and Safety with a growing, reputable main contractor. You will earn a very competitive salary (between £35-45,000 based on qualifications and experience) but much more than that an opportunity to learn and mature in an ever-growing market for Health and Safety professionals
