About the job

Our client is a modern niche multi-law service firm based in modern offices with space for them to continue to grow and develop their talented teams. And with growth comes the growth and demands of compliance. We are seeking a talented Compliance Solicitor to ensure successful identification and management of the firm’s regulatory compliance and professional risks with a focus on evaluating the firm’s compliance with the SRA Handbook and other relevant regulations and legislations. Your role will cover: Working with the Legal Director to manage the firm’s risk and incident registers and assisting in specific investigations as appropriate. Identifying and analysing risks – assessing if the firm’s internal compliance controls and policies are operating efficiently and effectively. Recommending ways to improve and strengthen internal risk structure Providing support, education and training to all colleagues to build risk awareness across the firm Preparing reports of all trends and issues and coordinating the file review process and key date process Regular review of all policies and procedures Managing the firm’s quality accreditations Raising awareness of emerging compliance issues Monitoring and where appropriate taking action when there are regulatory and legislative changes Designing and implementing improvements in communication, monitoring or enforcement of compliance standards Be a key stakeholder who provides insight and expertise into strategic business decisions from a compliance perspective Supporting internal projects – such as IT – giving expert guidance in all compliance matters Who will you be?
