Restore Datashred is one of the UK’s leading on-site and off-site shredding companies, providing confidential document and data shredding services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. We’re now looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with all certification frameworks and to maintain and achieve appropriate certification. Promoting Health & Safety and ensuring compliance, you will conduct internal audits and manage external audits, whilst contributing to the sales bid process by writing and maintaining response to RFP certification related questions. As Quality & Compliance Manager, you will also monitor compliance with laws, regulations and other internal policies and procedures and take responsibility for managing the risk register and reporting. About You So, if you have previous experience of working in a similar role which included developing a strong information security and compliance culture, then we’d love to hear from you! The Quality & Compliance Manager should have effective management and leadership skills, well developed interpersonal skills and the drive and passion to achieve success and reach stretching targets. With a strong commercial awareness, you will have knowledge of ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO14001 and R2 along with The Data Protection Act, EU Data Protection Regulation and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As an expert in information policy formulation and business risk management, you will also be competent in IT risk assessment and management, IT governance formulation and organisational change management. An understanding of security certifications and classifications would be an advantage, as would knowledge of Good Vehicle Transport Operators Licence
