Technical Compliance Manager - Fire Safety Systems Location: Covering South, South-East, London & Wales Business Area: Specialist Services - Facilities Management Contract: Permanent, full time Kier Specialist Services provides specialist teams and technology solutions to help plan, manage and improve our clients' workplaces. Kier Specialist Services are looking to recruit a Technical Compliance Manager with a breadth and depth of knowledge across M&E service delivery, and with a professional background in passive and active fire safety systems. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Compliance Manager for Fire Safety Systems, you will engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure the business achieves statutory compliance. You will provide support and advice to Operations by being the informed source of knowledge for all things technical, and highlight and facilitate resolution of any issues or risks which may impact on the business in achieving its statutory compliance, whilst pro-actively working with other workstreams, suppliers, and clients to do so. We will look to you to affect change leading to continual improvement, whilst conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that Technical, SSOW, SHE and statutory compliance procedures are adhered to. You will also identify and respond appropriately to trends through knowledge capture of our audit activities and CAFM systems to identify risks and enable priorities to be established. What do we need from you? We are looking for someone who is ideally a Tier 3 Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessors (NAFRAR) or similar, with membership of a professional body such as IFSM. You should have had experience in a similar role and have detailed knowledge of Legal and Compliance Regulations and SME knowledge of British Standard Documents and Hard FM Industry good practice such as CIBSE, HTM, and SFG20. You should also ideally have extensive knowledge, experience and commercial understanding of Hard and Soft FM Services, and be able to demonstrable experience in creating value from Asset Management.
