A globally known organisation in Northamptonshire are looking to appoint a leader of Health & Safety; someone who can take them from compliance to best practice - setting the benchmark for behavioural safety and H&S systems in the industry. The business are a specialist medium to heavy industrial business, with several sites across the UK. This person will be responsible for planning and implementing the EHS strategy for the business on their 400 head office and mobile technicians in Northampton. This role requires an experienced HSE professional who can engage with all levels of the business and introduce fresh ideas to improve the processes, systems and culture. This role requires someone who can educate the leaders of the organisation as they enter an exciting growth period. Duties and Responsibilities include: - Prepare and develop health, safety and environmental strategies and policies - Develop and execute a robust EHS strategy for the site - Influence and improve the monthly KPIs, investigate incidents and ensure continued compliance with applicable legislation - Keep up-to-date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation - Develop a behavioural safety programme and roll out across the business The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: - Experience of working with mobile field technicians Health & Safety - Experience of working in an office-like environment - Stable career background - Able to work in a standalone role - NEBOSH Diploma - Chartered member of IOSH preferred - Proven HSE Management experience - Ability to influence at all levels of organisation - Proven experience in driving changes and improvements - Positive, friendly, driven attitude, with an outgoing personality Are you passionate about leading H&S strategy across a world class business?
