We are looking for an HSE & Quality Co-Ordinator to provide administrative and operations support for all health & safety processes and policies relating to our office, home-based, and warehouse teams in Lutterworth. This is an exciting time to join the Avantor team with the overall objective of supporting the advancement of Science, safely and efficiently. Working hours: Monday-Friday core hours (working from home) What you’ll do on a typical day: * Administrate our online systems for Display Screen Equipment, Home Worker and warehouse Manual Handling training, and other assessment systems for the UK – chasing colleagues to ensure completion on time * Support the wider teams with risk assessment including manual handling, auditing, and statutory inspections * Maintenance and updating of our training matrix and HSE & Quality intranet information in line with business or industry updates * Identify and resolve technical inquiries from colleagues which are preventing the completion of essential training * Support the creation and business-wide sharing of regular HSE newsletters and other relevant material * Ensure certifications are maintained and up to date * Any other relevant administration or operational activities in line with the business and potential changes What you’ll need to be successful at Avantor: * NEBOSH General Certificate (or NCRQ Certificate in Applied Health & Safety) * A high standard of accuracy when producing written material * Experience in a similar administrative position, ideally in a warehouse or production environment * Any other relevant qualifications such as IEMA or auditing qualifications would be an advantage * Excellent customer service skills and the ability to influence stakeholders regarding process improvements * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages * Knowledge of HSE, Quality, and H&S policies in a warehouse or stores environment would be desirable What we offer: Here at Avantor, we focus on you.
