Our client, a global consultancy firm is looking for the support of a Compliance Analyst reporting directly into the Supply Chain Compliance Manager on a 3-6-month contract. This role can be based in Manchester, Solihull or Newcastle with some flexibility to work from home. Key responsibilities will be to continue managing the existing procurement compliance process across our clients complex IR35 project and central service supply chains, with the support of a Supply Chain Compliance Manager. Within this role you will act as the first point of contact for stakeholders when they are considering procurement options on their projects and creating new support cases. You will Identify the risks associated with each case – and, escalating as appropriate, ensure stakeholders are provided satisfactory responses. Additional key responsibilities will include: Ensure all compliance activities are completed on time, actions tracked, solutions agreed and documented, and accurate timely reporting is provided. Support the Compliance Manager to continually assess and audit ongoing risks to intervals agreed and amended from time to time. Risks will include supply chain tax compliance (IR35), reputational supplier searches, financial stability, contracts, new supplier onboarding and the like. You will be fully supported and trained on all systems and processes. Further important areas for identification and reporting will be sustainability, ethics-diversity and inclusion (EDI) and supplier performance scoring. Ensure supplier contracts are submitted as part of the compliance process - escalating any concerns appropriately and as agreed. Maintain accurate database(s) and records of all activities undertaken, to permit audit trails of all decisions taken. Successful candidates will have experience working within a similar internal facing role with a background within the public or financial services sector. Experience of providing support to procurement/supply chain processes, and therefore a familiarity with contracts, pre-qualification, frameworks and following standard processes Strong contract and compliance knowledge will be essential as this will be a hands-on process driven role. Excellent all-round communication skills are required. Hourly rate - £25-30 per hour - umbrella. Taxes/costs to be deducted
