About the job

Our client, based in Bromley, is seeking an experienced operations manager, to collaborate with other senior management, to formulate strategies, and ensure all HR & ICT policies and processes support effective delivery of strategic objectives. You will be supporting the HR, IT & compliance teams to operate efficiently and align with the business objectives. You will also ensure our client meets all legal and compliance requirements including H&S, financial services and data protection. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - You will assist with business technology planning, providing current knowledge of business need, and future vision of how technology and systems can support the business' strategy. - Coach and mentor the team, in relation to methodologies, delivery processes and best practices in order to ensure consistency - Develop the IT team and drive performance management, work closely with director to define company policies and compliance - Lead on agreed strategic HR projects - Oversee the client's performance evaluation systems, to ensure they are effective, and use these to develop ongoing support for staff development and training - Ensure regular review of company HR policies and procedures, e.g. employment contracts - Lead the process for insurance, FSA, GDPR reporting, data protection, etc. - Develop a proactive, risk-based compliance monitoring system - Conduct reviews, assessments and investigations in accordance with the regulatory internal/external requirements - Develop strong relationships with partners and suppliers that facilitate good service and deliver innovative cost effective solutions Essential skills & experience: - Experience of developing IT, HR or compliance strategies within a business - Experience as head of IT, HR or a similar role - Management of staff - Project management experience - Leadership abilities -Communicate effectively with a range of audiences - Demonstrate anti-discriminatroy practice in all areas of work - Working knowledge on legal / financial services law and practice - Prince 2 is advantageous but not essential Salary: £44,232 plus London weighting allowance of £1876 Permanent role 36 hours a week Monday - Friday Working from home role, offices based in the Bromley area.
