Role: Health & Safety Advisor - Outages Location: Immingham, N.E. Lincolnshire Start Date: 3rd May 2021 Contract Duration: 13th August 2021 IR35 determination: INSIDE of scope. Hours: Sunday - Friday 07.00 - 17.30 (early finish Friday) Rullion are currently working alongside Siemens Energy on an exciting project at the site of Killingholme Power Station. We are looking for a HSE Advisor on a contract basis, please see details below. The EHS Advisor Site Operations reports to the Site Manager (with functional reporting to the SE GP G SV EU 5 EHS Team) and is responsible for the Championing of Zero Harm through the Implementation of the EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Policy and promoting positive attitudes towards Environmental, Health and Safety on the operational site. The EHS Advisor will take a standardised approach for delivery of EHS. Focus of the role is to ensure legal compliance with applicable internal and external EHS-related legislation and the prevention of EHS related hazards and risks, along with the promotion of Siemens Energy Zero Harm culture. Responsible for promoting positive attitudes towards health, safety and the environment on all Siemens Energy SE GP G SV EU 5 operational sites. Experience Educated to NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Working towards NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO45001/ISO14001/ISO9001 Experience in Power Station industry (Gas and Steam). EHS experience in power generation or similar. Project Management experience beneficial. Experience in working to Management System standards of ISO45001/ISO14001/ISO9001 Able to influence at all levels of a business Lead by eample Provide technical explanations to senior and operational staff Train, coach and enthuse colleagues as a member of a coherent team Management of multiple projects and contractors Network built on trust. Intercultural experience, good Siemens Energy business knowledge Education & Training Educated to NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Working towards NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Working towards NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent.
