This role will provide a Project Management role overseeing programmes relating to Health and Safety within the Property & Construction industry, including team, budget and related accountability. Key to the role will be the ability to devise, design and deliver an Operating Model for Health and Safety and set the standard within the Construction industry. Client Details HSE /Construction Industry Description Accountable for delivering the project - meeting agreed outcomes. Day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team. Provide effective leadership and management controls. Set project controls. Design the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage. Set appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage effective transition between project phases. Develop the budget and track delivery within budget. Identify skill requirements at all stages of the project, recruit resources within budget constraints, oversee effective deployment of resources including: building Work collaboratively - Ensure stakeholder interests are identified and addressed. Manage stakeholder communications and ensure buy-in. Form collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Build consensus across a large and often diverse group of stakeholders. Manage risks and issues and escalate to SRO where appropriate. Ensure strategic and operational risks and issues are identified, prioritised, assessed and mitigation actions developed, implemented and monitored throughout the life of the project. Ensure senior stakeholders are briefed, updated and where appropriate, enrolled in the management and control of key risks. Identify and engage specialists as appropriate. Be held to account through the governance process. Establish and manage Quality Assurance and Change Management processes. Engage with relevant authority to provide assurance reviews and acts on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required by the SRO. Provide effective Change Management Provide guidance and support for the team Develop and agree Project Performance and Controls Profile A background in devising, designing and delivery Health and Safety protocol within the Property & Construction indsutry is essential. Experience working within Health and Safety or Project Management within High rise buildings would be advantageous but not essential. An intimate understanding HSE Regulations and Standards relating to Construction. Experience delivering large scale complex projects. Ideally holding some PM qualifications e.g. Prince2, APM PQ etc. Previously holding a Senior HSE Leadership role within a large builder or developer would be beneficial Job Offer Contract role - rate depending on experience Inside IR35 Long term contract Flexible working with regular meetings, candidate can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are willing to travel
