VEGA Recruitment is currently looking for a Contract Health and Safety Consultant to join a national Project Management construction firm on a mechanical upgrade on 2 large distribution centres in St Helens and Coalville. Our client is one the country’s leading project management consultancies. Their portfolio includes several major fit outs across the UK. Due to an increased workload this summer an opportunity has arisen for a health and safety consultant to join their team on a 6 week contract on 2 large distribution centre mechanical upgrades in St Helens and Coalville. Reporting directly to the operations manager you will be expected to manage and advise the client and contractor on all safety issues related to the project. This will include RAMs, inductions and any investigations following any potential safety incidents. To apply for this role, you will hold a NEBOSH qualification and preferably have Grad or Tech IOSH. You will have similar experience on a previous project and will be able to provide references to demonstrate this. You will be required to split your time between the 2 sites equally so therefore the ideal location will be Stoke on Trent or Crewe as this is geographically central to the sites. A competitive daily rate, PPE, laptop and online induction will be provided to you before you start plus the potential for more work with this client across the UK throughout 2021.
