The purpose of this role is to provide commercial legal support and guidance across the business, to manage and maintain the group’s statutory books (both hard copy and electronic) and deal with all corporate filing and FCA regulatory compliance requirements. To be the primary point of contact for the business and the legal team and to act as a conduit through which the legal team is engaged on strategic projects. Duties * Conduct high level reviews of standard form commercial contracts including supply agreements for goods and services, terms and conditions, framework agreements, non-disclosure agreements, software agreements * Advise on key risks/issues arising out of commercial contracts * Be the main point of contact to support colleagues from across the business with ad hoc legal queries (including employment, corporate, personal injury, data protection, IP, H&S, debt, litigation) and liaise with other members of the legal team, as appropriate * Update both hard copy and electronic versions of statutory books and deal with all necessary Companies House filings to ensure corporate compliance * Diarise and manage FCA registrations, filings and regulatory compliance requirements What will I be expected to achieve? In addition to helping to ensure compliance across a number of areas, one of the main focuses of this role will be around the creation, implementation and maintenance of a Contracts Management system by working with our internal IT department. I would be great at that! What skills do I need? * Previous experience within a secretarial/PA support role would be desirable * Commercial focus * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Excellent team working and communication * No legal qualification or experience is necessary as full training will be provided Hours: 37 hours p/week Monday – Thursday 9am – 5:30pm.
