Working closely with the Senior Compliance Officer, the Compliance Officer is someone with an analytical mind and expertise in financial controls, auditing and compliance. The Compliance Officer is capable of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. The ideal person is someone who has outstanding problem-solving skills, a meticulous attention to detail and a great understanding of key financial controls. Responsibilities * Conduct compliance audits against prescribed company procedures required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. * Working with Compliance Professionals to assist in the delivery of team objectives * Conduct Thematic Reviews required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. * Undertake feedback meetings on audit results to all levels within Moneybarn. * Undertake reviews of departmental First line audits required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. * Responsible for supporting the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and ensuring the monitoring activities are completed in line with the plan. * Support line managers in the operation and improvement of the First Line audit activities * Ensuring that any actions identified from the audit processes are logged and followed up. * Provision of support for Line Managers on regulatory Compliance matters. * Monitor compliance to company policy and procedures. * Adhere to FCA Conduct Rules * Other support to the Risk and Compliance function as required
