An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to lead our compliance team. You will be responsible for all tiers of candidate onboarding, including the development and delivery of all compliance and safeguarding processes. Working in a fast-paced sales environment you will either have experience in compliance and vetting or come from a sales leadership background and have a keen interest in working in the operational side of a recruitment agency. Managing a large team in our head office in Birmingham, you will be leading an integral division within the company as we continue to grow substantially over the next 6-12 months. Working within the education sector, high quality safeguarding and compliance is an essential part of our business, and this role brings an opportunity to drive the division forward while leading a driven, motivated and successful team of consultants. This role is for someone who is looking to help initiate, lead and drive the process improvements at a company level, whilst taking on more duties and helping shape the ongoing compliance function of the company. If you are in a Senior Compliance leadership role now, are looking to take the next step into senior management or wish to use your transferable leadership skills into a different division we will be keen to hear from you. Recruitment experience is preferred but not essential. Role and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Managing the compliance team, including providing support, absence management, discipline and grievance, and recruitment activities. Effectively setting out goals and objectives for the team and conduct 121s to ensure targets and KPIs are met. Leading and motivating the compliance team and ensure consultants meet their potential. Managing all process changes when new legislation comes into force in line with safeguarding and compliance changes. Managing the candidate onboarding audit process across the business to ensure high standards of compliance are met in line with our audit accreditation. Responsible for safeguarding incident management and ensuring any incidents occur are dealt with correctly whilst liaising with the appropriate 3rd party organisations. Be the first point of contact for any compliance queries from the business or external clients. Responsible for the managing of the weekly candidate payroll function.
