As HSEQ Officer you will be joining a leader in the delivery of geotechnical solutions to a range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland. With more than 30 years expertise in their field they have successfully delivered design and ground engineering installation solutions for a range of challenging iconic projects. Based in their offices in County Down, you will be responsible for assisting in all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters to maintain a safe working environment for all staff. As HSEQ Officer your duties will include but not be limited to the following: Assisting in the maintenance of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management Participating in audit systems and management Carrying out regular site inspections and site inductions; completing toolbox talks; recording Working with contracts manager, office staff and site teams to ensure that site documentation is relevant, timely and accurate. Participating in company training, occupational health Supporting further development and design improvements to our existing HSEQ documentations and Review and update handbooks and Review and update safe systems of work, method statements and risk Helping reduce the number of H&S incidents to zeroTo be considered for the role of HSEQ Officer you will have the following: At least two years in a similar HSEQ role within the Civil / Construction sector. Third level qualification in a related discipline, NEBOSH certificate or Diploma is essential. Broad understanding of HSEQ legislation and codes of practice.
