NDT Level 2 X-Ray Technician Sheffield £32,584.50 An award winning advanced manufacturing facility producing complex parts for aerospace customers including Rolls Royce are looking to secure the services of an ambitious Level 2 Radiographer to assist with NDT duties. Working within the Radiography team the scope of the role is to conduct NDT testing using specific techniques on aerospace parts with duties will involving, but not be restricted to; * Review routers, procedures, specifications and any other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform the operation * Work with x-ray generating equipment * Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for weld discontinuities * Set up, calibrate and perform process control checks on equipment * Generate new/amend NDT data cards for approval by the Level III It is essential that you currently hold or have previously held NAS410/EN4179 or PCN Level II X-Ray This role will appeal to those looking for new technical challenges and improve their Inspection skills.
