NDT Level 2 FPI Technician Sheffield £32,584.50 An award winning advanced manufacturing facility producing complex parts for aerospace customers including Rolls Royce are looking to secure the services of an ambitious Level 2 Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector to assist with NDT Dye Penetrant duties. Working within the NDT Inspection team the scope of the role is to conduct NDT testing using specific techniques on aerospace parts with duties involving, but not restricted to; * Review routers, procedures, specifications and any other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform the operation * Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results * Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions * Set up, calibrate and perform process control checks on equipment * Generate new/amend NDT data cards for approval by the Level III * Provide on the job training to trainees It is essential that you currently hold or have previously held NAS410/EN4179 or PCN Level II FPI This role will appeal to those looking for new technical challenges and improve Inspection skills.
