The Role: A global nuclear instrumentation and radiation specialist are looking for a QSHE Engineer to be based out of their Birchwood, Warrington office. As a developmental role, this position will allow continual professional development with the aim of becoming competent enough to deputize for the QHSE Director. Providing direct support to the QHSE director, you will support in maintaining integrated management systems ISO certification. This will include auditing, customer complaints investigations, calibration tasks, vendor auditing and non-conformance investigations. With this will come some travel across the companies UK sites to support in QSHE tasks. Further responsibilities will include: * To become competent to deputize for the QHSE Director. * Support the Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) in all day-to-day work. * Cooperate with the company's arrangements for health and safety. * Be considerate of the environment in all business dealings. * Abide by the company's stated values and support the mission statement. * Must be willing to travel across all UK sites, sometimes at short notice. * Strive for professional development through a Personal Development Plan. Essential Skills / Qualifications: * HNC/HND in an engineering or science discipline. * Internal/Lead Auditor training (IRCA accredited) in at least one of the following: ISO2001:2015, ISO14001:2015 or ISO45001:2018 * Full UK driving licence. Desirable Skills / Qualifications: * NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (desirable). * Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt (desirable).
