Hiring Wizard on behalf of An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join our team based at our Head Office. Job Title: Compliance Assistant Location: Birchwood Salary: Competitive + Benefits Hours: 41 hours per week - Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The Compliance Assistant role is a central support role responsible for high quality monitoring and actioning of construction operational compliance. Acting independent of the various construction projects, you will be responsible for tracking and reporting their adherence to compliance items to ensure efficient handover and practical completion. Whilst based at our Head Office in Birchwood the post holder will be required to visit our construction projects. The post holder therefore must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle to remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the role/ projects. Compliance Assistant - You: Requirements - Knowledge and Experience of construction operations, Building Control Requirements - Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities - Excellent organisational skills - Excellent knowledge and practice of MS Office including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Email, MS Projects - Aptitude for IT software systems & experience in ViewPoint for Projects & FieldView - Demonstrate an ability to work with colleagues and clients at all levels - Confident at working independently with the skills to work under your initiative - Full Driving Licence and access to vehicle - Experience in risk management (identifying and managing risks/emerging risks) - Experience of business process review/audit Personal Attributes - Team Player - Always maintain professional approach - Competent in prioritising and working with little supervision - Reliable - Self-motivated and trustworthy - Solution focused thinking - ‘Can Do Attitude’ - Detail Orientated Compliance Assistant - Benefits: - 6% employer pension contribution - 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays - Personal health insurance - Bonus scheme To submit your CV for this exciting Compliance Assistant opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
