They are looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to ensure they are in full compliance with the import and export laws of the countries in which they do business. Trade Compliance Manager Job Description * Develop and implement trade compliance plans * Ensure the business’ compliance with a variety of governmental, regulatory agency and corporate policies (HMRC, ECO, EU, DOT, US Customs, US Commerce Department, US State Department and the EPA (TSCA shipments)) * Accountable for the management of customs fees and duties paid * Overall responsibility for the trade compliance of all imports and exports * Regularly represent the business in dealings with other sites, personnel from other BU’s and RU’s, customers, suppliers, and government regulatory agencies as required Trade Compliance Manager Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required * Strong experience in International Transportation/Logistics/Customs Compliance/import/export regulations * Knowledge of the UK and EU trade Compliance regulations * Well-versed with business process evaluation, documentation, compliance, and control * Comfortable interfacing with representatives of the UK and EU Governments Trade Compliance Manager Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required * Previous experience working for an Engineering business * College degree in a Technical or Business discipline
