Embark Resourcing are proud to be supporting our client in their search for an eager and confident HSE Advisor to join their growing team based in Northamptonshire. Our client specialises in HSE advisory services to public, private, domestic, commercial and industrial companies around the UK, bringing a lot of variety and exposure to this exciting role. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring HSE advice provided is tailored to clients in the most appropriate and in-depth way to fit the business and their requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring a safe client workplace environment without risk to health and developing and recommending safety improvement initiatives to clients. - Management of investigation into incidents / accidents and maintenance of appropriate records as and when required. - Regular reviews of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations. - Compiling or assisting in the compilation of Construction Phase Plans (CPP’s), Pre-Construction Information, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for clients. - Carrying out planned and ad-hoc site inspections and formulating reports and recommendations so you can then advise clients on changes to working practices to ensure they are safe and comply with legislation. - Maintaining knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that affect the industry to then assist clients to meet their statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including recommendation of statutory training. The ideal candidate for this role will have: - Strong Microsoft Package experience. - Ability to work under pressure. - Time Management skills. - Good Communication skills. - Ability to work as part of a team and also to work as an individual. - NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree level qualification. - 2 Years Construction Experience. - Working towards Chartered Membership. - 2 years 'Safety Professional' experience. - 2 Years Construction Experience.
