An NDT Technician is required for a brilliant opportunity within a specialist engineering business in the Rotherham area. With approximately 100 heads, a turnover of £10 million and supplying to sustainable industry, this is a fantastic opportunity for an NDT Technician to work in a business that is committed to manufacturing impeccable quality products. The NDT Technician's duties and responsibilities: - Conduct ultrasonic inspections manually, ensuring that international standards are met. - Where necessary, calibrate, set-up and operate ultrasonic inspection equipment. - Ensure that ultrasonic procedures meet customer requirements, reviewing and generating new ones where appropriate. - Produce reports for all inspection, testing and calibration carried out. - Ensure that visual and physical inspections is carried out from raw material stage through to final product, guaranteeing that the product meets all manufacturing and compliance standards. - Carry out other NDT test and operations on products at various stages. - Ensure product traceability through identification marking of products. I am keen to speak to individuals with the following: - Experience as an NDT Technician in an engineering environment - Experience in a casting or forging environment - PCN Level 2- Ultrasonics - Well versed in the use of measuring tools. - Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
