Welding - QHSE Manager Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire Salary: c.£50-70K Depending on Experience + Excellent Package Job Summary: The QHSE Engineer/Quality Engineer will be responsible for Quality Control/testing of welds in addition to developing and maintaining my Client's quality, H&S, and environmental management procedures to ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. The COMPANY Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment. The ROLE Due to internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for a talented QHSE Engineer/Welding Manager to join their successful team - the present incumbent is assuming a global role within the organisation. This role will involve; *Non-destructive testing and weld inspection *Quality control of fabrication *HSE/risk assessments on sites *Taking responsibility for QHSE within the organisation *Continuous improvement *Internal & external audits *Quality control & inspection of manufactured equipment *Preparation and Sign off Project Final Inspection Release Certificates, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and inspection and test procedures *Managing a small team The CANDIDATE The successful candidate will be a talented QHSE/Quality professional with experience within a manufacturing/fabrication environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require; *Knowledge of engineering & fabrication inspection techniques *Experience of Non-destructive testing and weld inspection *Qualified visual weld inspector/CSWIP *QHSE experience in engineering *Good engineering knowledge *Excellent communicator at all levels *Live within an hour of the office *Comfortable with travel *Knowledge of Structural Steel and pipework fabrication, CE Marking, Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) and ISO 3834 *ASME PACKAGE includes; Pension - 12% Health Care Dental Care Life Insurance Critical Illness Cover Gym Membership Etc.
