Expleo, as a preferred recruitment supplier, are currently supporting an innovative and growing manufacturer within the defence industry, who are looking for support from a Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure all projects comply with their Quality Management System and fulfil customer quality expectations. The Quality & Compliance Manager will undertake internal process audits and create quality processes and strategies to improve operational performance. The Quality Manager role is based in West Sussex on a permanent basis, however, it will involve travelling to their other office in Surrey. What to expect as a Quality & Compliance Manager? * Work with all key stakeholders to ensure compliance with the company's Quality and environmental strategy, including liaising with suppliers to resolve quality issues. * Ensure all Quality procedures and systems are kept up-to-date and train each department to ensure they are aware of expectations. * Respond to customer complaints by implementing countermeasures and communicate the lessons learnt to ensure these concerns are avoided in future projects. * Maintain documentation outlining QMS standards and develop quality KPI's. * Develop quality-process links with customers in line with QMS, including ISO14001 /ISO 9001 /ISO 45001. Ideally, the successful Quality & Compliance Manager will have experience & knowledge in the following key areas * Qualification in a quality engineering discipline and ISO 9001 /14001 audit trained. * Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment and automotive /military quality assurance activities. * Developing relationships with customers and suppliers and implementing process improvement and development.
