My client is a Housing Association who are looking for a Compliance and Maintenance operations manager to work within their Property Services team. The role will involve: • supporting the Estates, Responsive & Maintenance Manager to ensure that the service delivers high quality responsive services, and that it meets all performance targets and financial outcomes. • managing the Compliance & Servicing team, ensuring that all property and resident health and safety policies and procedures are in place, and that the team have a full understanding of all statutory areas and are able to demonstrate compliance with their service areas. • leading on the procurement of new compliance, servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance contracts, in liaison with the councils, including analysing and predicting repairs, maintenance and servicing trends and budgets, looking for innovative solutions and supporting options appraisals. Candidates must have the following: Professional qualification in a property related discipline, either as a chartered surveyor, quantity surveyor or architect. A sound knowledge of asset & investment functions within social housing, local authority or similar area● Sound understanding of compliance and statutory landlord obligations and their effect upon asset/stock management At least five years experience of managing property related functions within the public sector, social housing or similar operating environment.● Experience in presenting information to Boards, Councillors or other stakeholders including residents. ● Experience of leading and managing high profile, complex projects with a range of interested stakeholders ● Experience of developing, leading and motivating successful teams.
