This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance & Training Officer who has previously worked in education or hospitality reviewing performance and food standards. Your primary focus would be to ensure the delivery of great food standards, by undertaking audits and training to ensure compliance across our customer sites. You would also be responsible for the ongoing development of the team and instilling a strong health & safety and food safety culture. Salary - £26,000 plus company vehicle Hours - 8.30am - 5.30pm Based in Wetherby, Travel around Yorkshire The successful candidate will have; Minimum 2 years' in the food and hospitality industry (ideally in school catering) with multi-site management Advanced/Intermediate health & safety certificate Advanced food hygiene certificate Group trainer skills certificate A full UK driving licence A confident ability to present as well as provide training to internal teams Proven ability to manage, lead and motivate a team of people Excellent interpersonal communication skills - including an ability to present confidently Proficient in all aspects of MS Office - Outlook, PowerPoint Excel etcYou would be responsible for the following duties; Heath & Safely Set and maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety and Food Safety in compliance Ensure all risk assessments have been correctly completed and signed off Plan and undertake periodic audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with Health and Safety systems Take ownership of any health and safety and food safety issues (following an audit, inspection or event) and manage to an improved solutionFood Ensure compliance to all food development process and procedures i.e. menu creation Ensure your team follow the correct recipes and compliance menus are adhered to daily, including all presentation, promotion and pricing Ensure your team are briefed and compliant with the Food Policies (i.e. cultural, religious, ethnic, allergies, special diets)Client / Team Management Ensure customer's expectations are understood, communicated and exceeded Deal with any contractual issues promptly and proactively, escalating as required Ensure relevant training is carried out across your team within agreed deadlines and recorded appropriately Adopt and maintain a people-focused management approach Ensure staff have a sufficient supply of uniform and PPE Take responsibility when change is necessary and follow through deliveryIf this sounds like an ideal opportunity and your approach to your work is the same as ours, we would love to hear from you.
